Another Three Points - Cotterill

Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill said that he was happy with another three points after his team's 3-1 win against Coventry City at The Ricoh Arena.

"It’s another three points and a fantastic result against what I think is a good Coventry team. We’re pleased with our performance, we’re pleased with our goals and we’re pleased with the win," Cotterill told the Bristol Post.

“There was just a 20 minute spell in the second half where we stepped off it a little bit. All of a sudden, we relaxed a bit too much, they got their goal and that gave us a shake-up.

“We needed to get a grip of the game again and we did that, just like we have in a number of other games this season. We got a grip of the game again and started passing the ball.

“I don’t want to give myself a pat on the back, but I think the substitutes helped. They gave us that little bit of energy in the middle of the park. We saw a great pass by Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and an equally good finish from Scott Wagstaff.”
