Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has revealed that Danny Pugh will be out for another week to ten days after re-injuring his ankle whilst playing for City U21's in their 7-0 defeat at Sheffield United.
Speaking about Pugh to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Pressley said: “He played in the Under-21s and he broke down but we feared it was going to be a situation where he might have required another operation.
“Fortunately the MRI scan was better than we anticipated. He’s travelled to London to see a specialist and we hope it will be a positive outcome, but he’ll certainly be out for another week to ten days.”
The latest is that Pugh does need an operation and will be out for the rest of the season.
