Marcus Hall has signed a one year deal with an option for another year. The defender who has made 53 appearances since he re-signed from Stoke City after a spell at Southampton told Sky Blue World: "It takes a bit of pressure of me to be honest, I can relax going into my holidays and enjoy it, but I knew it was going to sorted one way or the other, but I'm glad it's been done sooner rather than later.
"It can be a worry but I knew I wanted to stay, it wasn't a case of me wanting to go anywhere else it was just a case of getting things sorted and you leave that down to your agent to do. My agent and Mal Brannigan have sorted it out now and I've put-to-paper.
"Hopefully it will be a two-year deal, I have to play a certain amount of games in the first year but I should be able to do that fairly easily so hopefully it will be a two-year deal all in so I'm happy with it."
With the loose ends now tied up on his deal Hall says he will enjoy his summer which includes City's trip to the United States of America, something the lads are looking forward to.
"I'm going to look forward to my break with the family first and then come back and we are off to America and it will be a nice change because we usually go to places like Germany so America will be something different and it will be a good trip."
