Arena Station Fight Continues

After Coventry MP Jim Cunningham raised the matter of the lack of a train station at the Arena in the House of Commons, Leader of the House Geoff Hoon is to take up the fight with Transport Secretary Alistair Darling.

Said Cunningham: "I am happy to note that there has been progress on the future of the Coventry to Nuneaton railway line. "The line will ease the traffic flow problem around the Arena and the Coventry area as a whole."
