Coventry City loanee Adam Armstrong scored for England U19's against Macedonia in the first of three Euro 2016 qualifiers.
In the first game in Skopje on a rain soaked pitch with a number of puddles, Armstrong gave England the lead in the 67th minute before the striker, on loan from Newcastle United, was substituted with twenty minutes left.
England boss and former City manager Aidy Boothroyd replaced Cov Kid Danny Crowley for the last thirteen minutes of a game which England won 2-0 thanks to a goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time from Ainsley Maitland-Niles, whose header was adjudged over the line by the referee.
The other two sides in the group from which two qualify - Finland and Italy drew 1-1.
