Former Coventry City winger Ashley Cain has said that he is on the road to recovery.
The Nuneaton born player, who came through the City ranks, was due to sign a deal with Romanian side Gaz Metan Media back in June and was with them for pre-season training in Hungary.
However, he injured his Achillies tendon and returned to England for treatment.
Cain tweeted: "My achilles is healing slowly but surely but i am still not able to run after 4 months.. My rehabilitation is going well however and I am hoping to be back out in to my Romanian club in January for the winter training camp in turkey."
