Coventry City have loaned out Freddy Eastwood.
The forward has been loaned to his first football league club Southend United, until June.
Eastwood is out of contract at the Ricoh Arena on June 30th and has been told that he will not be getting a new deal.
Exactly how much of his wages, rumoured to be around the £8k a week mark, cash strapped Southend are actually paying, has not been announced but Tim Fisher told the club website: "This is a good move all round. There is little point in Freddy sitting around here when he could be playing first team football somewhere. We wish him well at Southend."
Eastwood will team up with former City youngster Cameron Belford who is staying at Roots Hall on loan from Bury until the end of the season.
