Under-fire Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has it’s back to the drawing board after the Sky Blues 1-0 home defeat against Hull City.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "It was one of those games which we seem to be getting each week as I don't know how we didn't score. There were defining moments in the game which we didn't capitalise on.
"We definitely didn't deserve to lose the game and I thought at times we were much better and put a real shift in. I don't think the confidence was affected during the game and it is important we keep our heads up.
"I thought we finished strong so we need to keep going if we are going to get out of it. We had some decent chances but it just wouldn't go in for us.
"We need to give ourselves a lift as in most games we are in the contest in most games. It is disappointing but I can't fault the player's effort and commitment.
"I can't make any changes personal wise as we don't have too many so it is back to the drawing board and we have to go again next week and put in the levels of effort required.
"I'll keep going as the pressure is still on us and the players will do the same. Hopefully we can get that break along the line which is required for us to push up the league.
