Coventry City have signed Carl Baker from Stockport County.
Reports indicate that Baker passed a medical and agreed terms before signing a two and a half year deal with the option of another year.
There has been no mention of the fee so far. Stockport County have said the fee is undisclosed although there have been unsubstantiated rumours of a £300,000 deal.
Baker started his career at Southport and hit 19 goals from them in 78 (+9) appearances before moving to Morecambe where he scored 11 goals in 46 (+2 ) appearances.
He joined Stockport County in the summer of 2008 and has made 41 (+10) appearances) and scored 16 goals. In all those games, he has received 22 yellow cards and two red.
