Coventry City’s Carl Baker is at a loss to explain City’s away form. which has seen no away wins this season and nine consecutive away defeats.
Speaking to the CT’s Andy Turner, Baker said: “I don’t know what it is about playing away.
“It seems like a big burden and once we get the first win away from home then I think things will change.
“It becomes a situation where there is loads of pressure whenever we go away now.
"All the lads are aware of it and no matter what we do or how hard we try. Sometimes I think you can try too hard and think about it too much, but until you get that first win it can be really difficult.
“I don’t think Forest were much better than us on Saturday.
"We have gone into some away games and lost and you can hold your hands up but in games like that we have got to be picking points up if we want to stay up. It’s as simple as that.
“But we can’t dwell on Saturday’s defeat too long because there are big games coming up and we have to make sure we beat Barnsley at home now.”
