Coventry City supporters face a trip to Barnsley next season after the Tykes won the League One Play-Off Final this afternoon. Hayes put Barnsley ahead in the 19th minute before Fallon and Robinson scored for the South Wales side.

In the 62nd minute,Coventry kid and City fan Danny Nardiello equalised to send the game into extra-time and then penalties.

Lee Trundle and Britton scored for Swansea with Hayes and Shuker replying. With the scores at 2-2,Akinfenwa missed for Swansea whilst Heckingbottom scored. Tudor Jones made it 3-3. Kay scored for Barnsley to put the Yorkshire side back in front and Tate missed Kenny Jackett's side last penalty to ensure that Oakwell will stage Championship football next season.
