Josh Barrett has said that he is looking forward to his loan spell with Coventry City.
Barrett, has signed a new three year deal with Reading FC who are loaning him out for the rest of the season to the Sky Blues.
Speaking to Reading's website about his loan move which comes into effect on January 2nd, Barrett, who has been banging in the goals for Reading U23's, said: "I'm going to enjoy myself and do as well as I can at Coventry.
"These games give you that kick forward to getting used to that kind of football.
"For those of us who will go out on loan and have new experiences, those games are key for us in moving forward in our careers and when you train with the first team, you're used to the physical side of it.
"I want to go to Coventry and win games. I've won a lot of games this season with the U23s, hopefully go and get amongst the goals and assists, win games and hopefully push forward up the league.
"Hopefully we can get a promotion or get into the play-offs and get to Wembley, I'm excited for it and looking forward to it now."
