Coventry City midfieldler Adam Barton admitted to being delighted with his goal during City's 5-0 win at Hartlepool United on Saturday.
Barton scored the winner for City U21's against Birmingham City on Tuesday and with his first touch scored against Pools.
Speaking to club journalist Keiran Crowley, Barton said: "I am delighted to get on in the first place and then to score with my first touch is even better. The manager told me to warm up at the beginning of the second half but then we got three goals and I thought I wouldn't be coming on.
"But I did get on and he told me to get on the ball and control the game. My first touch was a goal and you can't be much happier than that."
