Adam Barton has said that he is uncertain of his future at Coventry City.
The midfielder was originally made surplus to requirements by Steven Pressley but was brought back into the fold when there was no other interest in him.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph, Barton admitted that he did not know if he had a future with the Sky Blues and said: “I don’t know really. I’ve had my ups and downs as everyone knows here and I don’t know what to think.
“In a way I’m not too worried about it. I am just thinking about the next game and working hard in training.
“I was told I could leave back in the summer but I got my head down, got my chance and now I’m taking it game by game. I can’t really look towards moving on or new contracts yet because I don’t feel I’m in a position to do that. I just have to concentrate on keeping my shirt at Port Vale on Saturday.”
