Thankfully Dave Bassett appears out of the running for the vacant Coventry City managers job after agreeing a contract with Millwall until the end of the season to coach at the Lions two days a week and to help Ray Wilkins on a match day.
Yeovil Town have stated that they have received no approach from Coventry City to speak to their manager Gary Johnson about possible employment at Highfield Road. Johnson who has also managed the Latvian National side told the Western Daily Press: "Until my board of directors have had an approach then it's only speculation, but I am aware of the reports."
So far,City have received over fifty applications for the job and have said that they will make a decision about whether there will be any fans involvement in the interviewing and appointing of a new team boss next week.
