Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd is likely to pick David Bell in his starting eleven to face Leicester City at The Walkers Stadium today.
Bell spent a few months at Leicester on loan from Luton Town and had hopes of joining the Foxes permanently during the Ian Holway tenure, but the deal floundered when Ollie left the club.
Bell only played six games for The Foxes in 2008, but he is now hoping to pay against his old side and help his new team earn a first win at The Walkers Stadium in ten years. Coventry City last beat their near neighbours ten years ago when both teams were in the Premiership.
Bell said to the CT: "I spent a little bit of time at Leicester when I was at Luton and thoroughly enjoyed it."
"Leicester are one of the in form teams at the moment but we will go there with confidence and, if we have got a bad record there, we want to put that right."
Bell has spent much of his time at Coventry as an unused substitute, but a fine performance, which made him man of the match in many supporters eyes, against Swansea in mid week has enhanced his chances of making another rare start for the Sky Blues.
Prior to Tuesday evening's defeat at home to Swansea, the 27 year old Bell had not played a competitive game since News Years Day and has only played in ten games for City so far this season.
"It has been a very frustrating for me being on the bench for the last 10 or 11 games and not getting on the pitch once," said Bell.
"Hopefully I did enough on Tuesday night to stay in the side for the Leicester game."
