Former Coventry City forward Craig Bellamy won't be the next manager of Oxford United.

The Welshman, who has been coaching Cardiff City's U18's and working with Neil Warnock, has told Sky Sports that he has withdrawn from talks with the League One side about becoming the club's manager.

Oxford United's new owner Sumrith Thanakarnjanasuth had said last week that Bellamy was one of four candidates they were speaking to about the vacant manager's job.

Former Coventry City loanee Adam Jackson, was stretchered off during Barnsley's 1-1 draw away to Hull City.

Jackson collided with Jon Toral and was unconscious when he was carried off.

The defender has recovered with Barnsley boss Jose Morais saying: “I am happy to hear that he is ok, I saw him for some minutes.

“He was already eating pizza and he is ok. He got conscious and he is ok.”
