Ian Bell's run of poor form with the bat unfortunately continued on the second day of Warwickshire's County Championship game with Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
On a rain interupted day, Warwicks resumed on 24-0 but only added twelve runs to that total before Ian Westwood was caught Adams bowled Shreck.
A run later and nightwatchman Ant Botha who had made 19 runs was out and then Ian Bell was caught by Chris Read from the bowling of Ryan Sidebottom for one after facing only six balls.
Jon Trott, normally the saviour for Warwickshire, only made 15 and with Jim Troughton making nine and Tim Ambrose one, Warwicks were in trouble at 66-6.
Rikki Clarke made 67 as Warwicks closed on 214-9.
