Coventry Sphinx Secretary and Covsupport News Service correspondant Jackie McGowan was named tonight at the Best Administrator at the annual Midland Football Alliance awards in Walsall.
Speeches from Andy Morris of Westfields and Stuart Mclaren from Loughborough opened the evening, followed by a speech from the Gresley Manager whose side won the League.
Stratford Town were the Joe McGorian Memorial Cup winners before David Lawrence toasted the league with Chairman Mike Joiner responding on behalf of the league.
After music from New Amen Corner and Dave Berry, the awards commenced with Tividale winning the Pat Fellows Memorial Programme Award.
Loughborough Uni won the Bernard Davies Disciplinary Award whilst Causeway, who provide some lovely cakes to officials on matchdays, won the Baker Joinery Hospitality Awards.
Then the Polymac Services Award for Best Administrator was announced and the winner went to a very surprised Jackie McGowan.
Polymac Top goal scorer was David Waple from Heath Hayes with MFA Manager Of The Year going to Gresley's Gary Norton.
Polymac League Cup Winners were Loughborough Uni with Runners Up Tipton Town.
Baker Joiner MFA Champions Gresley, Runners Up Westfields.
