On December 8th, the Skydome Arena will hold a Best of British clash between the Coventry Blaze and English Premier League side Manchester Phoenix.
The match will face-off at 7.30pm and will be played with 4 imports on each bench giving Blaze head coach Paul Thompson an opportunity to take a better look at the young and upcoming British talent. Thompson will be calling on the services on Joe Henry, Jack Watkins and Josh Bruce, who've all been playing for a Telford Tigers side in the same league as the opposition, alongside the current Blaze Brits, including new signing Robert Farmer, forward Ross Venus net minder Tom Murdy and fans favourite Russ Cowley.
Tony Hand's Manchester based roster will travel down with hoard of familiar faces returning to the Skydome, Phoenix net minder Steve Fone, Curtis Huppe, Greg Wood, James Archer and recently signed Andrew Sharp will all been keen to impress their previous club and fans in Coventry.
Paul Thompson is yet to announce his four imports.
The Blaze are also pleased to announce that this fixture will also be added to the 27 game season ticket allocation, meaning Blaze season ticket holders can see the return of the Phoenix for free!
Blaze fans without season tickets, will pay Adult tickets will be £8, under 16s £4 and a family ticket for £20.
Ticket for the match will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 17th November with Season Ticket Holders having till the end of the second period during the Nottingham game on the 4th to collect their season ticket. After this
point, season ticket holders will still be able to collect tickets but there'll be no guarantee of securing their regular season seats.
After the game Crosby's will be hosting a huge party, with massive offers and free juke box till late.
