Notts County manager Shaun Derry described his side's 3-0 win over Coventry City as 'the best performance' since he took over as manager of the Magpies.
Derry, who is assisted by former Sky Blue youngster Greg Abbott, told the Press Association: "The performance was the best I've seen since I've been here. "We've had some fantastic results and some great wins, but if you look at the whole performance that was a proper, proper, team performance.
"It was the best I've seen defensively, the best I've seen from the midfield and up front too.
"I thought we were very clinical and the experienced lads showed just why they will be so crucial for us from now until the end of the season.
"The players really wanted to show the fans what they were made of and as I say, it was a complete performance.
"I said to the players before the game that if they looked back at the good results we've had, think about how well we started those games. It sets the tone for the afternoon and a good start is exactly what we delivered."
