Jack Failsworth of the Lancashire Evening Post is claiming that Coventry City are interested in former striker Leon Best.
The Sky Blues sold Best to Newcastle United in 2010 and the Republic of Ireland international moved on to Blackburn Rovers last season.
As reported on this site on Sunday, The People Newspaper, which never mentioned Coventry City at all in the article, claimed that Best could be on his way from Ewood Park after having words after being left out for the defeat to Doncaster Rovers.
It is highly unlikely that City, have who bombed out players who have been earning too much, could afford anything near the sort of money, Best is getting at Blackburn.
