Coventry City striker Leon Best has been tipped to start getting amongst the goal again.
The Republic Of Ireland international has nine goals this season but has not scored since the 2-2 draw at Queens Park Rangers.
Speaking about the current dearth of goals by Best, City manager Chris Coleman said to the CT: “I had a chat with Leon at the weekend because he hasn’t scored for a while and he’s getting a bit worried about it.
“You could see that against Barnsley on Saturday when he had that chance on his left in the second half.
“If he’d already have scored he’d have just hit it, but he was trying to create the perfect opportunity for himself.
“That’s the way it goes with strikers. Four weeks ago Clinton couldn’t score in training but now he’s got a couple of goals he can’t miss.
“It’s the same with Freddy. And when Leon gets that next goal – and it will come – I’m quite sure they’ll start flowing for him again.
“I’m in a position to rotate the strikers and it will be horses for courses; I’ll look over the next three or four games before deciding.”
