Coventry City midfielder Chris Birchall might be put of favour with Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman but the winger is wanted by his Trinidad & Tobago country.
Birchall had retired from international football after making 59 appearances to concentrate on his club football but is one of six players recalled to the national team by coach David Muhammed.
T&T's 2010 World Cup Qualifying restarts in August after a two month break and a number of friendlies have been provisionally arranged.
The first is on July 17th against Netherland Antillies in Trinidad and the former Port Vale man could feature alongside Dwight Yorke who has also been recalled after a meeting with T&T's FA Boss Jack Warner as well as Wrexham's Silvio Spann and Avery John now with Miami FC.
