Eric Black
With compensation agreed with Wigan Athletic, Bruce has been speaking to Sunderland Niall Quinn to thrash out a deal which Bruce has said must include being able to bring Eric Black and former Aston Villa keeper Nigel Spink with him.
Talks have been on-going for the last two days but Sunderland are hoping to that Bruce can be unveiled in the next day or so.
