Obviously, losing to Coventry City was more than some Blackburn players can take.
At around 10.30pm tonight, Blackburn striker Jason Roberts was speaking to fans before boarding the Rovers team coach.
The former Wigan man is alleged to have reacted to something which on-lookers belief was a comment from a young teenage City supporter and flew off the coach before throwing punches which hit two teenagers in a frenzied manner.
Other Blackburn players got off the coach and were able to bundle Roberts onto the coach.
As the City stewards stood watching, an undercover police officer went onto the coach and spoke to Roberts and the teenager involved. No action was taken and the Blackburn coach departed shortly after.
