Coventry City have some nerve to blame supporters for the gates at Sixfields having a direct effect on Steven Pressley’s playing budget being slashed.
After all, CCFC are responsible for:
Selling their share in Arena Coventry Limited to the Higgs Charity
Agreeing to the initial rental deal for the Ricoh Arena
Moving the club into a stadium it could not afford to play at with limited income streams
Taking the club out of the Ricoh Arena
Taking the club out of Coventry and moving it 35 miles away in Northampton.
The team losing points from winning positions in large enough quantities which would have prevented relegation from the Championship or been enough to be promoted despite the points deduction.
Perhaps the club, players and its owners SISU should be looking at themselves first before blaming the fans.
