Coventry City CEO David Boddy is still hoping that a deal can be struck to keep the Sky Blues in Coventry and at the Ricoh Arena.
Burton Albion have confirmed they are willing to offer the Sky Blues a home but Mr Boddy has told the Coventry Telegraph that the aim is still to do a deal that everyone wants.
"The football family has been unbelievably supportive to the football club in our plight, " said Boddy.
"As reported on Sky Sports News yesterday we have had offers from five football clubs to share with them, and as Burton have come out and confirmed they are one of the clubs I am happy to say I did receive call from chairman Ben Robinson, who I have known for many years, they have kindly offered us their facilities.
"We are not in a position to discuss which option we are likely to go for in the event we do have to go for a groundshare
"Our aim is to still do a deal at the Ricoh for next season. Rest assured, if that fails we will still have options."
