Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd is considering what to do for the best over Danny Ward.
The winger is still injured and with his loan running out at the end of December, the City staff will have to decide whether to see if they want to take him on loan again. Boothroyd said to the CT: "He is still injured and we will get him when we can, but obviously he's been out so long that it is going to take him a while to get fit again and up to the level required so we will just have to wait and see on that one.
"He was due to stay until the end of December. I haven't had any contact from Bolton and until he is fit we can't decide what we are going to do with him really."
Asked if he will consider trying to extend the deal in the New Year, he added: "I would have to give it a little bit of thought because what we don't want to be doing is taking a player who is not fit and then having to get him fit straight away.
As far as I am concerned I have got that going on in the background but I can't really put the focus on it because he's not fit."
