Former Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd is to be interviewed for the England U21 manager's job on Friday.
Boothroyd, who has managed England U19's and U20's, has been in charge of the U21's following Gareth Southgate being put in charge of the national team following the short lived appointment of former City defender Sam Allardyce.
He will be interviewed on Friday by a panel which includes Southgate, Paul Ince and former City defender Stuart Pearce.
