The reason is all to do with the glare of the sun, which has not been a problem much this season as a number of home matches have brought the rain explained Boothroyd to the CT's Andy Turner.
"The sun is in your eyes if you warm up at the other end," said Boothroyd. "Previous people haven't really understood that so you'd think they would have changed it rather than getting all warmed up and turning round the other way."
