Coventry City boss Aidy Boothroyd has once a again said he will send out fringe players on loan when the loan window opens next Tuesday.

Boothroyd hopes to add two players to his squad before the next game, the early kick off at The Ricoh against Leicester on Saturday 11th September, the players being strikers Marlon King, who played in City Reserves 2-1 win against Birmingham on Wednesday and Bolton's Danny Ward.

Boothroyd is happy to see fringe players go on loan as he doesn't want players moping around the training ground.

He said to the CT: "People would rather do loans than permanent deals at the moment because the recession is affecting football as well, and there will be players available."

"I don't want a huge squad including players who are not happy because they are not playing so there will be the opportunity for some of the older ones who are not getting a game to go out when the window reopens on Tuesday."
