Boothroyd Up For Scunthorpe Trip

Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that he is looking forward to Saturday's trip to Scunthorpe United.

Speaking to Sky Blue Player at the club's weekly press conference, Boothroyd said: "I think Glanford Park is a terrific football stadium. It's tight and compact and I like going to places like that because we've got a group of players who just love to play football whether it's at a massive stadium or on the park. It doesn't matter to them.

"Yes I've been to Scunthorpe and won before but I'm a different manager to what I was then, Coventry are a different side with a different manager and Scunthorpe are certainly a different side to then.

"Scunthorpe's position in the table (20th) is not a fair account of how they have been playing and the thing with statistics is that they can turn around and bite you if you don't prepare properly so we'll make sure we're right for the trip up there."
