Coventry City defender Ben Turner has been praised by City boss Iain Dowie. The centre half, who came through the club's Academy ranks, is currently keeping Elliott Ward and Robert Page out of the side.
Boss Backing For Turner
"Ben is a massive raw talent and Coventry should be proud to have him in their midst because I believe he is a real emerging talent.," said Iain Dowie to the CT.
"Being a centre half is a position where you can make an error and it can cost you, "Ben didn't make an error at Stoke because, for me, it was a good tackle and a penalty was given.
"He went into a bear pit there against a very physical side who were throwing things into the box and he coped with that very well, like he coped with Marc Nygaard at QPR. "He coped with Carlton Cole against West Ham but in the end we have to say was it half a foul, but he is that honest that he didn't go down when he was pulled.
"He has to learn that at that stage in a game he has to make decisions early on.

"He is still only 19 and is entitled to make errors. Arjan De Zeeuw is honest enough to admit when he makes errors and he's 37."
