Former Coventry City forward Jay Bothroyd has had talks with Everton about a potential move to Goodison Park, according to media reports today.
The striker, who won a Covsupport News Service Young Player of The Year award during his time at Coventry City, was told by Cardiff City that he was not being offered a new contract for next season.
Celtic were also reported as being interest in Bothroyd who was called up and played for England last November.
Bothroyd is available on a free transfer.
