Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has said that having a free weekend has benefitted some of his players.
The Sky Blues were without a game on Saturday due to scheduled league opponents Burnley being involved in the FA Cup Fifth Round, a competition City went out of at the Fourth Round stage with defeat at Birmingham City.
However the break has proved good for some of his players who now face Swansea City tonight and Leicester City on Saturday.
Speaking to Sky Blue Player, the City boss said: "We've given one or two a breather because we felt they needed it, the dads army squad have had more time off than anybody else.
"People like Westy too, who has had a lot of internationals, has had a couple of days at home because he needs to recover mentally.
"We've had three very tough days, three days off, and after that it's all been about preparation for Swansea on Tuesday."
