So Coventry City have confirmed what we already knew in that Ray Ranson has stepped down and Ken Delieu has taken over as Chairman with John Clarke as Vice Chairman.
A move which has not been well received by some of the City supporters who have expressed an opinion on the various social networking sites.
Mr Dulieu whose involvement in Southampton FC at a time which has been declared the worst in their history and his alleged involvement in companies like Vantis will hardly give City supporters a feeling that the club in his safe hands.
John Clarke, it is fair to say, does not command the same respect in Coventry that either Joe Elliott or Gary Hoffman do and hopefully, the rumours that have been doing the rounds for the last few weeks about new investment coming into the club, will be something which may be announced tomorrow if the biggest thing to happen to CCFC since moving to the Ricoh headline being splashed around Twitter by the CT is correct.
SISU have had their day. Thanks for saving the club but it is time to move on and the only way things are going to improve on the Sky Blue front is if new investors come in and clear all the debts including monies owed to SISU, who appear not to want to back the manager in the transfer market and seem reluctant to do anything other than cover running costs.
Hopefully, the new investors will solve all that, getting rid of those creditors who have held the club to ransom over the years, with a share of the Ricoh Arena bought, we can look forward to more prosperous times on and off the pitch.
