Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has said that Bristol City are clear favourites in Saturday's League One game at the Ricoh Arena but he hopes that a corner can be turned.
“Looking at the form of both teams, Bristol City are the clear favourites," Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner.
“But I feel that we will turn the corner. Sometimes it’s difficult to tell people this when you’re not winning games but there are a lot of really good things happening within this football club, and if we can just turn that corner at the very top then hopefully people will start recognising that.
“And it can come when you least expect it. In the 13th game of last season we played Leyton Orient who were unbeaten coming into the game, so maybe it’s an omen.
“There’s no doubt that Bristol City have got by far the biggest budget in the division but with that, comes a pressure and responsibility to spend properly and I think they’ve recruited very well with some very good players.
"They’ve spent money wisely in terms of transfer fees and their manager, Steve Cotterill, deserves great credit for that."
