Bristol City are interested in signing Coventry City defender Richard Keogh according to reports.
According to the Bristol Evening Post, City boss Derek McInnes is after a defender and Keogh who has a year left on his contract at the Ricoh Arena fits that bill.
Keogh is a former Bristol City player who walked out on the club and joined Carlisle United from whom City signed him two seasons ago.
City are reported at valuing Keogh at around £1m but Bristol City are believed to be considering a bid of £500k to try and tempt the Player of The Year back to Ashton Gate.
