Bristol City Getting On With Ground Development

Last updated : 01 May 2014 By Covsupport News Service

Bristol City are redeveloping their Ashton Gate home.

The Robins had wanted a new stadium but residents objected and residents and two planning inquiries and an abandoned judicial review saw the plans come to nothing, so they have opted for a £40m redevelopment of Ashton Gate for which the plans were approved in November.

The development will see The Wedlock, which has been used by Coventry City and visiting supporters for many years, and the Williams stands  being rebuilt with the Atyeo and Dolman stands refurbished and altered.
