Southend United boss Phil Brown has said that his side can put things right at Coventry City this evening.
Southend lost 2-0 against Bristol Rovers on Saturday and Brown told his club's website: “We’ve given ourselves mountains to climb and on Saturday it was too much of a mountain to climb and consequently we didn’t climb it.
“Afterwards there were a few harsh words in the changing room, firstly by myself and then more importantly by the players. I’m hopefully going to put it right tomorrow night.
“We’ll have a game plan to play football in the right areas of the pitch and that’s the key factor to getting a win tomorrow night. We have to earn the right to play and make sure that the opposition is nullified.”
