The currently appointed referee for Coventry City's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Quarter-Final against Sheffield United is Mark Brown from East Yorkshire.
He has only had two City games in the past. Both were last season and were the home game against Crystal Palace and the 1-0 defeat at Peterborough United.
This is his fourth season on the national referees list and Mr Brown, a taxi driver by trade, found fame last year when he was banned by Mike Riley for three weeks for posting a joke about Stephen Gerrard on a social networking site.
He has had 15 matches this season and shown 43 yellow cards and five red.
His assistants are Ian Dudley and Paul Graham. The Fourth Official is Wayne Barratt.
