Coventry City U18's boss Brian Borrows was a happy man after his side beat Aston Villa 2-1 on Saturday.
"The boys put in plenty of effort today and they got their just rewards," said the Under 18s boss. "We came out the blocks quickly and had much the better of it in the first half", said Borrows to the club website.
"We got two good goals in quick succession and that was obviously a big boost for us.
"Villa are a good side and were always capable of getting back into it but I thought we defended well after they had pulled a goal back to make sure that we got the win.
"We have been guilty of conceding late goals on a few occasions this season but we look like we have improved our concentration levels and I'm delighted for the boys."
