Building Work To Continue For Another Year

Coventry City Council have told the Safety At Sports Grounds Advisory Group that there will be another twelve months of on-going building work at the Arena.

Most of the work will be outside of the stadium and around the conference centre area and should not greatly affect supporters.

Meanwhile, Arena Coventry Limited have been ordered to make sure that the Arena is fully compliant with the Disabilities Act.

There have been complaints that a service lift was being used to carry wheelchair bound supporters and that the kerbs around the Arena entrances are too high for motorised wheelchairs and the Safety At Sports Grounds Advisory Group have demanded that A.C.L. take action.
