Sammy Clingan is available to leave Coventry City on a free transfer.
The Northern Irish midfielder rejected a contract believed to be around £8m and is free to leave when his contract expires on June 30th.
Speaking about Clingan who is rumoured to have been looking for £12k a week, to the CT's Andy Turner, Thorn said; " I have spoken to Sammy. We have offered him a decent contract but he chose to turn it down and that's his perogative. He's been great but it's highly unlikely that we'd have got anywhere near what he was asking for.
"We offered him a decent deal and he chose to wait until the end of the season and see what he can do so we wish him all the best."
