James Scowcroft finally completed a move to Crystal Palace this morning. The midfielder who join City on a free signed for the South London side for £500,000 and a three year deal.

Signed last summer, Scowcroft made forty appearances for City scoring three times. He was not helped by injury and missed the pre-season tour of America but played in the games at Halesowen and Nuneaton Borough.

The money which represents good business by the Sky Blues will be put to immediate use with two more signings expected this week.
