"It didn't go quite to plan to be honest, " said Cain, who was voted Covsupport News Service Coventry City U18's Player Of The Season last season, about his loan to the CT's Andy Turner. "While I was down there, they had the cup games that I could not play in and then two matches were called off due to bad weather and there was not a lot of football played in the month.
"But it was a good experience in the fact that it made me hungrier to do well now I am back and I really appreciate what I have got here at Coventry in terms of the facilities and everything like that.
"I have come back and got stuck into training and I am a lot hungrier to train. I played in a reserve game on Tuesday and played well in that. We lost 2-1 but it was a good game for me and I got at my defender and created a few chances.
"I am looking to impress in training all the time. It would be good for me to go on loan and get more experience but first and foremost I want to see what I can do here.
"Now is my time to impress and to try to get a new contract and training well and improving is going to be a big factor and hopefully i can do enough to win another contract.
