Caldwell Out Of Scotland Squad

Former Coventry City loanee Gary Caldwell has pulled out of Scotland's World Cup game with Croatia.

However, his decision to withdraw has been greeted with delight by some of the Scotland support with one supporter writing to the Daily Record;

“Why are Scotland bemoaning the loss of Caldwell? It’s a blessing in disguise that he’s been forced to withdraw.

“He isn’t a good defender and Scottish football has reached a new low if anyone is upset by this news.”
