Call It The Ricoh If You Want

The announcement of the £10m deal by Ricoh to secure naming rights for the Arena has been met with a mixture of apathy and resentment according to the postbag, Covsupport News Service has received.

With the news that Coventry City will not get a penny out of Ricoh name beng given to the Arena and the company having no tangible links with the City other than a contract to provide equipment such as photocopiers with Coventry City Council, supporters have been suggesting names that they can call the Arena in a way akin to Southampton's ground being known as St Mary's Stadium rather than The Friends Provident Stadium and is something that will reflect our heritage and local indentity.

Cov City Mad favour the names "Coventry Arena" but if you can come up with something better, please let us know and we will print the best ones.
