Former Coventry City striker Callum Wilson sat on the bench for England U21 tonight in their friendly 3-1 win against Portugal at Turf Moor.
Danny Ings on his home pitch gave England a sixth minute lead with Carl Jenkinson scoring a second in the 43rd minute.
Portugal pulled a goal back through Silva, who is on loan at Monaco, in the 48th minute, only for Ings to score again ten minutes later.
Wilson was not one of the substitutes used, but will travel with Gareth Southgate's side to Brittany to face France on Monday.
If Wilson plays in that game, the Sky Blues will get some money as part of the deal which took him to AFC Bournemouth in the summer.
